OcuLoop Privacy Policy

OcuLoop is provided by Metal Arts Canada as a guided visual wellness and screen-break routine app.

Information Stored on Your Device

OcuLoop stores the following information locally in Android app storage:

• Onboarding completion and selected wellness goal
• Daily target and reminder preferences
• Safety guidance acceptance
• Exercise history, routine time, streaks, and optional comfort check-ins
• VR mode calibration preferences

OcuLoop does not create user accounts and does not upload this local information, eye images, facial recognition data, or medical records to Metal Arts Canada servers.

Advertising

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner advertisements outside active routines. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
• Interactions with the app and advertisements
• Diagnostic and performance information
• Device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID when available

This information may be used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google states that it is encrypted in transit. For more information, review Google's Privacy Policy.

Consent and Privacy Choices

Where required, OcuLoop uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent before loading advertisements. Eligible users can review or change their advertising privacy choices from the Privacy choices entry in the app's Profile screen.

Payments

Paid subscriptions and in-app purchases are not enabled in the current release.

Health and Wellness

OcuLoop is intended for visual wellness routines and screen breaks. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, double vision, nausea, or unusual discomfort, and consult an eye care professional for medical concerns.

Data Deletion

You can delete locally stored OcuLoop data by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Advertising data controlled by Google is subject to Google's privacy controls and policies.

Age Requirement

OcuLoop is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children or minors. Google Play is configured to restrict access for users identified as minors. If the app is later offered to users under 18 or used in schools, this policy, consent handling, advertising configuration, and Play Store declarations will be reviewed before publication.

Changes

Metal Arts Canada may update this policy as OcuLoop evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
